Taking the first step can bring on the feels: vulnerability, dread, ambiguity and/or many others .
You might be reaching out for the first time, coming back after previous experiences that did not quite work out or simply wanting to try a different therapist. Wherever you find yourself, we can see what you need together.
Contact

Please share a brief note on what you're hoping to explore or work through in Therapy. Knowing a little bit about what you're experiencing helps me prepare for our first conversation, but please only share what feels comfortable. It is completely okay if you aren't sure how to put it into words yet or don't know exactly what's going on, the purpose of Therapy is so you don't have to figure out alone or have all the answer right away :)

What Happens After You Reach Out
There is no pressure to move forwards after our intro call if things don’t feel aligned.
Finding the Right Fit
Therapy is a deeply personal journey, and let’s be honest; it can be quite overwhelming with so much choice and information out there! It might even take a few goes before you find someone you connect with. It is completely okay if, at any point, you feel that our connection doesn’t quite align with what you need. Real progress happens when you feel understood and aligned with your therapist.
If you ever feel that we are not the right match, I invite you to share that with me. Please know that this is a non-defensive space, my priority is your growth. If we decide to go different ways, I will do my absolute best to offer suggestions or referrals to other therapists whose specialties, identities, or styles might better suit your needs.
Above all, your well-being and progress come first - whether or not that continues in our work together.
1. Connecting Initially
Once you send an email, your message lands safely in my inbox. There is no right or wrong way to share your story, just start exactly where you are.
2. Response & Fit
I aim to respond within 48 business hours. We’ll briefly connect on a 15 minute call to ensure we're a good fit and I can answer any immediate questions about the therapeutic process or my approach.
3. Setting the First Session
We’ll find a dedicated time that works for you and schedule your first session. This initial meeting is an assessment session, which means it will be a little more structured as I ask some key questions to understand your story, what you’re needing support with, and what feels most important right now.
4. Paperwork & Safe Containment
I’ll send over the therapy contract for you to sign. The privacy policy is available to access on my website at any time. These are important for establishing the clear boundaries and safe containment we need to foster steady growth.
5. Preparation
You don’t need to bring anything but yourself. You might take a few moments to notice what feels most present in your body or mind, but we will uncover the path together as we go.
